This musical raises two major unusual characteristics: 

• The story: This a weel founded story, that transport you to the golden years of tango in the Argentine of the fifties, directly into a film studio. 

• Traditional and Electronic musicians: Because of the possibility of doing this musical with a tradictional tango orchestra or an electronic orquestra. Joining in cimplte aromony with the great cast of dancers and signers.

International Performances

October, 2011- Santiago de Chile: The hole company presented "Buenos Aires Tango" spectacle at The Oriente Theatre in Santiago de Chile City. Performing traditional and electronic tango. 


December 2007- January 2008- Tessaloniki, Greece
Special shows for christmas and New Year's Eve. 2008 January season with 25 performances at the "Vergina Theatre" in the Regency Hyatt Casino of Tessaloniki (Miryam Perez Producciones) 


June, 2007- Croatia and Serbia 
Tour for four couples and a tango orchestra performing across different cities. 


October and Novembre 2006- European tour. 
Tour around 19 French Cities, appearances in Geneva (Switzerland) and London (England), performing 31 shows with great success from critics and audiences, with the show tango Jazz Argentina. 


October 2006- Bogota, Colombia 
Five ballet couples presented the show "Mafic, Tango an Wine" in Bogota (Colombia), performing a number of presentations in the Theater Colsubsidio, the most important of the City.

Musical Show "Forbidden Tango"

Forbidden Tango is a new musical, with a passionate story about an actor who comes back to his childhood's town to shoot a movie, and his best friend's wife falls in love with him, blinded by his fame. This showpiece contains more than 20 artists with dancers, singers and musicians with extensive experience.

After touring across Europe and South America, we decided to bring our tango shows to a new level, making totally new product different from the traditional tango show. 

Our staging is based on motion, haste and slowness, renewal and outstanding, rhythm and breathing, which means alchemy that takes shape, 

This is a very dynamic and audacious musical, where the story and characters guide us through a love and betrayal tale in a fifties Buenos Aires city, and no character can scaped from the seven deadly sins..

"Forbidden Tango" Story

Sergio Masal as adult Alex, presents this story, moving his argument through the seven capital sins adorned with dance, song and music of Buenos Aires, the tango. 


Charlie (Juan Pablo Bullich) is a successful actor who returns to Buenos Aires, his hometown, to film a musical production. 

He reunites with Alex (Alejandro Ferreyra), his childhood friend, who takes him back to the neighborhood where they both grew up, remembering old times. 


Everything goes well until Alex discovers  in his friend, a dark and shadowy person,  to whom success is not enough to be happy, trying to drown his sorrows with prostitutes, cigarettes and alcohol, frequently visiting the most important cabaret in town known as  " Sin, " where the star of the show is the sexy Elle (Ines Cuello). 


Alex will try to convince his friend that with simple and everyday things he will be able to find happiness, bringing him close to his circle of friends and his wife Clara (Rocio García Liendo). 
Charlie spent more and more time with Clara. Consequently she felt a deep and strong desire to be famous, so she starts to seduce him to achieve her goal. 


When Alex finds out, Clara has already become the conquest of the successful actor. This will awake his anger and contempt for Clara. His friends support him, showing that all women are the same. 


Nevertheless, Alex tries to have his wife back and she will see herself obliged to decide between love or fame. 


This story will show that its characters can not help committing the seven capital sins as people in real life, and that the end could make an abrupt change which would for sure surprise us…
